This canopic jar is associated with Duamutef, depicted with the head of a jackal, protector of the stomach of the deceased. On the body of the jar, made of limestone and incised and painted in blue-green, appears an inscription identifying the owner: the Osiris, father of the god Amun-Ra, Shedhor, justified. The lid, in stuccoed and painted wood, completes the ensemble with the image of the funerary genius.
This 3D model was created in collaboration with the Museo Egizio in Turin with the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze.
